Dual Audio Bluetooth Transmitter Adapter

The August MR270-HD Bluetooth Transmitter sends stereo sound from your TV to two pairs of Headphones at the same time, making this item perfect for when you want to sit back, relax and enjoy your shows in the evening, without causing disturbance. Just connect it to your TV via the Headphone Socket, Optical Out or Composite Audio Out and it transmits audio wirelessly to you and your partner's Headphones. No need for a splitter or trailing wires, this Bluetooth Dual-Transmitter Adapter splits the signal for you. When connect with two Headphones, the Transmitter supports up to aptX Codec.

Includes Qualcomm aptX HD

Integrating the latest technology in sound performance and transmission, the MR270-HD comes with the newest aptX HD from Qualcomm. This provides Higher Audio Resolution, 24-bit music quality transmission for studio-like music and a real Home Theatre experience. The aptX-HD codec is supported when connected with one pair of headphones only, and the device must be compatible.

Uses Qualcomm aptX Low Latency

The MR270 is aptX LL (Low Latency) enabled. This Bluetooth Codec lets you enjoy your Media with zero perceptible lag. An Audio Transmission rate of less than 40ms ensures the sound will be perfectly synced with what you are watching- aptX LL has a latency of around 30ms, providing you with some of the best end-to-end Audio Transmissions. The aptX-LL codec is supported when connected with one Headphone.

USB or Battery-Powered

Permanently plug the MR270 into your TV USB port so that you can reconnect swiftly anytime you want. Alternatively, the Portable Battery lasts for up to 15 hours between Charges, meaning it is great for using in bed with a Tablet.

Latest Bluetooth 5.0 for Great Connectivity

One of the only Bluetooth Transmitters to offer Optical Audio In, the MR270-HD can be connected to almost any Non-Bluetooth device. With Bluetooth Version 5, it's a simple, hassle-free and user friendly process to hook up to two pairs of Headphones, two Loud Speakers, or a combination of Audio Devices. Reconnection is swift and only requires you to switch your Headphones or Speaker on again.

WIll this item support two people with hearing aids?
The MR270-HD can support any Bluetooth pairing devices. If you both connect your hearing aids to it you can enjoy TV together on the sofa and still both hear everyhting that is going on without needing the TV volume high.

How do I tell which device is connecting?
To ensure you pair your devices correctly, pair one at a time. You can tell the device is scanning as all August adapters flash Red and Blue when searching. Once the device is paired you will see a blue light. There is a second, seperate light for a second device to clearly mark when it is being searched for and paired. To avoid pairing with the wrong device simply power-off any spare wireless devices, or have them already paired to a different source.

What is the Optical Port for?
Optical Audio is a newer form of audio transfer. If your TV supports optical cables you can use this instead of the 3.5mm jack for a higher-fidelity sound and snappier connectivity. If your device does not support Optical Audio the MR270-HD will behave as you would expect and fully supports those devices.
