FM / AM / Long Distance
The MB291 strips Bluetooth and digital radio features to focus on tangible, long-range wave reception. Pick up FM and AM radio as well as unique VHF channels like weather, shipping and the US / Canada emergency broadcast radio.
Portable to Remote Areas
The MB291 can be taken up mountains and across oceans with reliable, universal FM and AM reception. It’s light and ergonomic which help carry the radio in hand, attach to bags or belts with the lanyard, or just store in a coat pocket.
The battery is dynamic and will last up to 30 hours of playback depending on radio use, wired connections, torch usage and counter-charge by hand-crank / sunlight.
LED Torch
In one end of the radio there are 3 powerful LEDs which work together, in a pair, or alone to provide the right amount of light for your situation. Use 1 LED to light a book, as a nightlight or to not disturb anyone. Use 2 LEDs when you need to adjust a tent or see clearly underneath a car / in storage. Use all 3 LEDs to travel at night or when setting up a campsite, preparing breakfast before dawn or while fishing.
3 Charging Modes
Designed for long periods away from standard mains ports, the MB291 can be recharged and maintained in multiple ways.
A hand crank dynamo can convert kinetic energy into charge for emergency situations even at night, while caving, or in bad weather.
The solar panel integrated into the top is sufficient to maintain some charge through the day, even during use.
When you have the chance, the USB-C cable provides fast and efficient recharging in a fraction of the time allowing you to top up from any powered USB port.
Emergency Power Bank
The radio can, when needed, give power to devices through a USB port. This can give you vital battery for maps, calls, internet etc from your phone. Fully charge the MB291 before using the emergency power bank USB port for best results.
3.5mm Aux Port
The radio features wired connection through a 3.5mm AUX port. Listen privately with headphones / earphones or publicly with speaker systems.

Q: Where are the Charging Ports?
A: The MB291B features a protective soft seal around the charging ports (The opposite end to the LED Torch Bulbs). Pull back the silicone and the ports are accessible. Slot the silicone back in after charging.
Q: Why can I not change Mode?
A: If you can see the Time and Date, the screen is in Standby mode. Please tap the power button (Do not hold) and then press Mode to cycle modes.
If you can see no Date or Time, Hold the power button to turn on the device and then you may use Mode to change modes.
Q: No radio stations found?
A: Please ensure the aerial is unhooked and extended to the maximum length. Try from a variety of angles and locations nearby.
Q: Headphone Volume Seems Quiet / Loud / Inconsistent
A: Try a device with less Impedance, as the power supplied by the MB291B may be too low for extremely high-impedance headphones.
