Ear Defenders Built to Last

The August EP120 are sturdy, robust ear defenders with simple but strong construction. The headphones use thick, soft padded ear muffs to make every single minute of their 120 hour battery life comfortable and insulated.
Charge with a USB-C connection from 0 to 100 in just 2.5 hours! Then have the headphones ready for up to 120 hours of working time (Based on 70% volume).
Our passive noise reduction design built into the hardware means you aren’t using extra battery on ANC or electronic signal processing to reduce the noise levels, giving you a longer battery life.

Brand-New Bluetooth

Enjoy Bluetooth 5.4 for the first time in a pair of August headphones. Low latency, HD audio and stable connectivity up to 10m allows you to use these over ear headphones for site work, engineering, garages, DIY or just mowing the lawn!
The ease-of-use and long battery life combined with 30dB SNR makes these some of the best headphones for construction work of all kinds.

Clear and Loud Audio

Appearances aren’t everything!
The EP120 uses large 40mm driver units to provide high-fidelity audio in stereo, with music or audiobooks and podcasts all sounding as they should. The immersive insulated over ear padding enhances immersion and can keep you “locked in” for hours of hard work!

Inbuilt Microphone for Seamless Calls

Respond to work calls, organise the team or just chat on the phone with the inbuilt microphone.

What is NRR and SNR?

NRR and SNR are ratings dictating noise reduction. Customers in NA may be more familiar with NRR while the rest of the world uses SNR. They are simple Decibel (dB) measurements showing the amount of total noise reduced. For example a 30dB SNR means a 100dB noise (like a bulldozer) will actually sound around 70dB (more like a washing machine).

What is Passive vs ANC?

Passive noise reduction and active noise cancellation are two different methods of noise reduction. ANC uses electronics and microphones to actively counter noise, while passive noise reduction relies on physical construction such as padded ear muffs. ANC draws a lot of power, as it relies upon analysing and playing audio back in real time.
